Lake Cable does not merely do business in the communities that surround us, we contribute to those communities and the causes that benefit those who urgently need our support.
For example, our Corporate Work Study Program with Christ the King Jesuit College Preparatory School is helping young students gain valuable, real world experience to learn more about certain career paths. In the process, Lake Cable has paid for 67% of the cost of each student’s education at Christ The King.
Year after year, Lake Cable also helps fight the battle against pediatric cancer and MS with events that involve team members as well as their friends and family. This includes the Runzel Brothers Spring Shoot and MuckFest MS Chicago. Whether taking our aim in a friendly clay shooting competition or navigating a mud-filled course, the bottom line is that our people have had a hand in raising thousands of dollars toward The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and National MS Society.
Lake Cable has a legacy of supporting our nation’s military dating back to World War II, which continues being there for the wounded military in our community today. When a combat veteran is severely wounded, it’s not unusual to see our own Founder flying soldiers and their families to destinations for medical and other compassionate purposes, free of charge.
When an opportunity to help those less fortunate presents itself, Lake Cable is proud to do its part.
