Spring Shoot Raises Nearly $50,000 To Fight Pediatric Brain Tumors

Our Spring Shoot truly is an event that keeps getting better and better – and this year was definitely no different. How so? At the 6th Annual Runzel Brothers Spring Shoot, we brought in our greatest turnout yet of combined participants and volunteers. Best of all, due to our record attendance, we were able to raise nearly $50,000 in funds donated to The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation!

The combined sponsorship from Lake Cable and Shattuc Cord Specialties, Inc. for the Spring Shoot was supported through brothers and company owners Bill and John Runzel. As dozens of avid lovers of the great outdoors converged on the Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation in East Dundee, IL, participants competed in Sporting Clays, Flurry, 5-Stand and Annie Oakley shooting events.

Behind the Spring Shoot, there’s a special purpose that drives this event forward year after year. Every entry fee from the event goes toward supporting the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation that’s been dedicated to researching and detecting early childhood brain tumors. As long as they keep pushing hard for a cure, we’ll be proud sponsors of ways to help… When Delivery Matters.

We have a feeling that once again, next year’s Spring Shoot should be our most successfully attended event yet. And that’s good news for some wonderful kids in need.
